I have no regrets buying the complete package. Credits This post and the related worksheets are the result of many combined hours of research that I've done over the past couple of years. The Komplete Ultimate hard disks are not used at product runtime, and aren't intended to store any information other than the product installers. Komplete ownership is an all-or-nothing prospect. What genres of music do you hope to create? Komplete 12 Ultimate The Komplete concept has a bittersweet edge to it. Thank you, i'm trying to understand something. It's only recently with the West Africa library and Alicia's Keys do they really sound like they have a professional clarity to me, but as I struggle to articulate my thoughts beyond that, I suggest not putting too much stock into those opinions.
It can perhaps lead to using the tool you happen to have on hand and are getting to know and be comfortable with rather than the tool that's maybe best for you if you shopped around for individual third party equivalent solutions, but the latter approach can be quite expensive -depending on what you chose of course. The left of the control panel we have the Performance and Transport buttons. The samples used in these instruments come from the discontinued Akoustik Piano product, although any references to the original manufacturers and piano models were removed from the Piano Collection versions. Both keyboards have a browser wheel and controls for browsing presets. Every time I hear that library, my heart melts. On the other hand, if things went south tomorrow, and I was holed up in a bunker with no internet and a generator for electricity and just my laptop and external peripherals, I'd still be good for years to come in terms of learning and making interesting new sounds; in other words it's somewhat 'future proof'; if you get bored, there's always more to learn, and eventually you can update to the newer version if you like. Komplete is a delicious choice for that kind of music, and so is Omnisphere.
The sampled synths in there are kind of crap, only a few good patches. It seems to include a good balance of everything. In fact, most of the improvements to the latest version are for the benefit of developers. I'd also rate Komplete higher for their B3 and electric piano sounds; I'm still on Komplete 6 and I liked the Scarbee Vintage Keys package enough to buy it separately and use it in my live keyboard rig. These plugin maps work quite well and most had the top controls I wanted pre-mapped. I might be better off getting something like Omnisphere. For myself, the real question would be: What do I want?. Or create instant shifts with different stepped settings. The sampled synths in there are kind of crap, only a few good patches.
Firstly, I own a Mac. There is a lot of people who swear operator is better then massive, I just don't have time to patch a library of custom synths. Either way, one of the range should be an even more attractive option, especially with the world and his wife now invited to the Komplete Kontrol party and £850 of software to tuck into when you arrive. I might be better off getting something like Omnisphere. And what would you recommend from these 3rd parties? Which one does one choose? So it depends on what you're looking to do.
